It'll take some getting used to. There's a very active diabetes blogging community and you can find it by looking at the Diabetes OC site http://www.diabetesoc.blogspot.com/. You may also find a lot of help, support and friends at http://TuDiabetes.com. I believe there's several forums there for Type 2 diabetes. This is a tough disease, so be as patient as you can.
